Commercial Drone Piloting 101
The world is full of opportunities. With new technology available to almost anybody, it doesn't
take much to be a part of the scene. Especially when you can make money as a commercial drone pilot.
In order to become a commercial drone pilot you have to pass a test and obtain a certification that proves
that you know how to operate your drone safely. Basically safety procedures in order to stay safe while flying in
the sky.
You can do this as a recreation event with your family and friends, but as soon as you start earning income, you fall under
a commercial pilot law.
Regardless if you are earning income from the flying part of a drone business or the education part of the business.
Even if you don't plan on earning income with your drone, and are going to fly recreation style, you still may want to know the rules of the
sky.
For example. You cannot take your drone higher than 400 ft unless you apply for a waiver. A waiver will potentially give you permission to fly your drone
higher than 400 feet but you have to explain your purpose.
To find out where to apply for a waiver please search below for apply for drone waiver faa. Or something along those lines.
I wanted to be a part of this amazing scene where I can earn income by flying a drone. I was curious how to do it. Well actually, I didn't become curious, until I
met someone who had a RC airplane/ Drone affiliate site.
I was thinking of ways that he could sell more drones. What I thought of was, getting people certified and then send them to his site to purchase their first drone with a 15% discount. All it
would have taken for him to get the ball rolling on this marketing campaign would have been $300. Of course people are don't want to spend money in order to make money, so he made up every excuse
in the book as to why he could not pay at the moment. Excuses are fine by me, they are limiting themselves from success, not me.
As a marketing expert, I know what it takes to advance a business to the next level. I first identify what they are not doing, and then put the action in motion.
This was exciting to me, and I did not want to let someone else's cheapness prevent me from succeeding in a new business that could put extra income into my pockets.
So I figured that I would still try to get people, to get excited to become a drone pilot, but I couldn't do it if I wasn't certified myself.
I figured out how to take the test. I paid my dues, studied up, and earned my commercial drone pilots license in less that 48 hours.
Other people pay their dues, pay for study material, and still fail. They then have to wait 14 days in order to retake the test.
That process is available, but I believe it is way more difficult to get through. I have found a much simpler way to get certified, and much faster.
This is why I consider myself to be a Master Coach in Commercial Drone flying. Not only do I make sure you know your material, I make sure you are certified, and
I show you how to get clients right out the gate.
I did this. I got my commercial drone pilot license in less that 48 hours and I am ready to expand other peoples' skills within the niche of commercial drone piloting.
The road to success is a crazy bumpy road. If it wasn't for me posting an ad for marketing I would have never been contacted by the RC Airplane guy. I would have never been turned down, and I would have never
built the courage to get certified to fly drones commercially.
Now I am posting ads for marketing, for commercial drone piloting, for Aeronautical photography. I am reaching out to photographers and helping them get certified in flying drones.
This is an American dream come true if you ask me.
It's another skill set that has been created with the manifestation of technology.
Think about it. To be able to fly a drone remotely high in the sky and capture video and photos to assist businesses and developers get to their next level. To assist real estate agents with sales of million dollar homes.
That is quite an impact if you ask me.
